Due to higher environmental protections, political demands and stricter emission limits, the automotive industry are increasingly being led to the electrification of the drive train. For testing the vehicle components used, previous testing standards cannot be adopted one-to-one from the validation process of internal combustion engines.
In a collaboration with the competence center for tribology Mannheim, we the Innowep GmbH, are developing a modular testing system for conditions in electric and hybrid drive trains.
The goal is to implement a system for testing e-mobility components in a reliable and reproducible fashion and develop standards for comparability of those components.
